Nmart has filed a writ petition in the High Court against Police Department and Mr Shyam Sundar on 29/08/2012 with writ no. WP 27101/2012 to quash the FIR No. 154/2012-Prakasam Dist .
Nmart has filed a writ petition in the High Court appealing to quash the proceedings of investigation into the business activities of the Company and stating that The Police interfered into the business activities of the company basing on complaint lodged by a Civil Society Organisation Corporate Frauds Watch, and included that the Petitioner is not a member/customer of our business outlets nor he suffered any loss due to activities of the Company. " It is a frivolous complaint," it avverred.
The Honorable Justice K C Bhanu after hearing the arguments, he asked the State Government and the Police to file their counters in three weeks and included the Corporate Frauds Watch also one of the respondent to file its counter.
